A Pacific storm system will bring widespread valley rain and heavy mountain snow this afternoon through Wednesday.
Out ahead of the storm, south winds will keep it mild. As a result, precipitation in the valleys will mainly be rain with most snow expected above 7,000 feet. Winds across Western & SW Utah will be gusty today and early tomorrow.
There will likely be a lull in the wet weather during the day tomorrow, but precipitation will fill back in Tuesday night and could be heavy at times through early Wednesday.
