It's the first day of autumn, and it's going to feel like it!
Lingering moisture will keep a slight chance of showers & thunderstorms going early today, mainly along and over the higher terrain east of I-15. Otherwise, cooler and much drier air will spread into the state with temperatures dropping about 10 degrees lower than yesterday.
High pressure will bring warmer, dry weather this weekend. Temperatures will gradually climb through the middle of next week.
