A high tech robot helps kids at Primary Children's Medical Center attend class.
The VGo robot is designed to go to class for the students and send video of the lesson back to the hospital. Students can also use the robot to interact with other students in school.
The robot was donated to Primary Children's by students at Kearns High School, who raised more than $3500 to help cover the costs. Operation Kids donated the rest of the money needed to get the robot.
"These kids jumped in, said look let us help you raise this money," said Steven Wunderli, of Operation Kids. Wunderli said the students who helped raise money for the robot were interested in learning about the technology, but also wanted to be involved in presenting the robot.
