The Jordan School District has hired a Dallas-based media company to place ads on their school buses.
The School Board decided Tuesday to hire Alpha Media to sell and place ads on the district’s more than 200 school buses. The ads will begin appearing in about a month.
The ads could reportedly bring in $1.4 million during the 4-year contract the district signed with the media company.
Jordan is the first school district in the state to have ads on buses.
