A Logan woman was rescued after breaking her leg while rappelling at night at the Red Cliffs Reserve.
Washington County Search and Rescue responded at about 3 a.m. to the Chuckawalla Trail, located near mile post four on SR-18.
The woman lost her grip on the rope and fell about 60 feet, according to officials. The 21-year-old woman broke her leg and was taken by medical helicopter to a Las Vegas hospital.
Her name has not been released.
