UPDATE: UDOT said the roadway is open as of about 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Highway 6 is closed in Spanish Fork Canyon after two semis have crashed.

The Utah Dept. of Public Safety says that a semi-truck hauling an unknown type of fuel collided with another semi-truck near mile point 190 in the Red Narrows area of the Spanish Fork Canyon.

The fuel is leaking onto the roadway and hazmat and medical crews are responding to the crash.

State Road 6 is closed between the mouth of the Spanish Fork Canyon and Price while cleanup and investigation are conducted.
