KAYSVILLE - The USU Botanical Center is playing host to the first Baby Animals Day, giving kids a chance to show off their cute companions and raise money for a good cause.

The 2-day event is a fundraiser for the kids' 4H group and for the Botanical Center to develop new gardens.

Kids will show off their baby horses, goats and other two- and four-legged creatures on Friday and Saturday.

The event takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the USU Botanical Center (875 South 50 West in Kaysville).

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and $25 for families of up to 6 people.
