West Valley City Police are preparing charges against a 50-year-old man who is accused of trying to sexually assault his 18-year-old cousin.
Police say Taniela Kinikini asked the young woman for help moving something in his apartment where he then tried to assault her. She stabbed him in the shoulder and escaped.
Kinikini was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He will be arrested once he’s released.
