Utah’s top high school quarterback is headed to the University of Alabama.
Cooper Batemen, a 6-foot, 3-inch senior-to-be from Cottonwood High, threw for nearly 2500 yards and 25 touchdowns last year as a junior, earning him over 50 scholarship offers.
Bateman chose the Crimson Tide over LSU, Auburn, Florida and Washington.
He plans to graduate from Cottonwood early and enroll at Alabama in January so he can participate in spring practice.
