SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Education Association endorsed Congressman Jim Matheson in Utah’s race for the new 4th District.
Utah teachers say they’re proud to endorse his re-election effort and that he has been a champion for Utah teachers, parents and schoolchildren.
They say his proposal to correct the overly-strict No Child Left Behind rules is the right approach. Utah was recently granted a waiver from the act.
