LOGAN, Utah - Chuckie Keeton and Kerwynn Williams led the Utah State Aggies to a 35-13 victory over the UNLV Rebels.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Aggies were the first on the scoreboard with a field goal in the first few seconds of the second quarter. The Rebels pulled ahead with a touchdown, but that was the last time UNLV led as Utah State followed up with two touchdowns and a field goal to lead 20-7 at halftime.
UNLV kicked two field goals in the third to bring it to 20-13, but it was all Utah State in the fourth as they scored two touchdowns and nabbed a safety to win 35-13.
Keeton went 20-33 for 405 yards and Williams ran 113 yards and had 7 catches for 149 yards.
The Aggies, now 4-1, head to Brigham Young University to take on the Cougars (3-2), who are coming off a runaway 47-0 victory over Hawaii on Friday. Kickoff is on Friday at 8:15 p.m. MST.
