WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A 20-year-old woman is dead after crashing a truck on Sunday.
The accident happened on Bangerter Highway near 2400 South at around 6 a.m.
Police say the woman was driving northbound on Bangerter Highway going about 70 or 75 miles per hour when she crossed over into southbound traffic and was hit by a semi-truck, killing her. The driver of the semi is okay.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the accident, but the investigation is ongoing.
