A body found in an Arvada, Colorado park Wednesday night is that of missing 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, Westminster police said Friday.
A press conference was held by law enforcement Friday afternoon. They said the Colorado Bureau of Investigation used DNA as one of the tools to make the confirmation.
According to KDVR news station in Denver, workers found her body Wednesday afternoon while picking up garbage in Pattridge Open Space Park .
Jessica was reported missing last week when she went missing while walking to school.
