TOOELE, Utah – Tooele Police are looking for a man they say tried strangling his girlfriend then allegedly stabbed two men at a Halloween party.
The suspect is 19-year-old Gabriel Mascarenas, who is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, about 170 pounds and was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans with a Yankees baseball hat at the time of the incident.
Police say Mascarenas strangled his 17-year-old girlfriend until she was unconscious at the city’s cemetery. He then allegedly left his girlfriend and drove to a Halloween party where two men were allegedly stabbed with a box cutter.
The girlfriend and one man were released from the University of Utah Medical Center but the second man is still in serious condition.
