SALT LAKE CITY – The final BCS rankings are out and the NCAA bowl games have been announced.
Brigham Young University, who finished the season at 7-5, will face the San Diego State Aztecs (9-3, 7-2 MWC) in the Poinsettia Bowl. The game airs on Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. MST and will be televised on ESPN.
Utah State University, who finished 10-2 and 6-0 in the WAC, and were ranked at number 18 in the AP poll and 22nd in the BCS, will take on Toledo (9-3, 6-2 MAC) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The game airs on Dec. 15 at 2:30 p.m. MST and will be televised on ESPN.
Notre Dame, who finished the season undefeated, took the top spot in the BCS. They’ll play number 2 Alabama (12-1) in the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. MST on ESPN.
