Suspicious package at SLC airport ruled harmless

SALT LAKE CITY –Investigators have ruled a suspicious package found at the Salt Lake City International Airport on Monday as harmless, according to an airport spokeswoman.

An airport employee found an envelope containing a powder substance taped to a part of the plane at approximately 5:30 a.m.

A representative with the airport said no other flight travel was disrupted during the investigation.
