SALT LAKE CITY – The Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force and the FBI believe they’ve caught an alleged dealer of the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico.
Officials say they found methamphetamine worth around around $100,000 in Jose Gil-Sanchez’ car. Police say he fled to Mexico in 2008 after they served a warrant on him.
Officials caught up with Gil-Sanchez on Thursday after hearing that he planned to travel from Tremonton to Boise, Idaho, to deliver meth.
He was booked into the Weber County Jail.
