DAVIS COUNTY, Utah – Law enforcement officials in Davis County are warning residents of a new scam.
Officials say scammers call, saying there is a warrant out for the victim’s arrest and they will be arrested if they don’t wire money immediately.
Authorities say they will never ask for money over the phone. They ask anyone who has had this happen to call them.
