Man arrested for allegedly attacking girlfriend

SALT LAKE CITY — A man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly attacking his girlfriend at her workplace.

Salt Lake City Police said Dante Satterwhite, 27, struck the victim causing injury to her head.

The incident took place at a business near 700 East and 500 South. The victim was able to get away inside the business and locked the doors. Satterwhite threw his cell phone at the business’ window, causing it to break, according to police.

He fled when officers arrived, refused to comply and actively resisted arrest, according to police.

Satterwhite was arrested and booked into jail on charges including aggravated assault, fleeing and violation of a protective order.
