SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake City hazardous material team is assisting in a fuel clean-up at Salt Lake City International Airport after a truck collided with the wing of parked airplane.
Airport Spokesperson Barbara Gann said the fuel spill has been contained and there was no need to evacuate any gates or terminals. She said the crash occurred on the east side of the airport.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital, and the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
