ENOCH, Utah — The University of Utah’s Seismograph Stations recorded a series of small earthquakes near Enoch Thursday afternoon.
Three earthquakes occurred in a 30-minute period beginning at about 12:30 p.m. The largest was a 3.5 magnitude earthquake. A second quake was a magnitude 3.1 and the third was a magnitude 2.
The Iron County Sheriff’s Office received several dozen phone calls from people who reported feeling the earthquakes. Some said their homes shook and others said pictures hanging on their walls were swaying.
No damage was reported.
