PROVO, Utah - The Brigham Young University Cougars hosted Gonzaga at the Marriott Center on Thursday night.
After numbers 1 and 3 Indiana and Duke lost earlier this week, Gonzaga (28-2, 15-0 WCC) had a lot to prove to get the nation's top ranking.
The Bulldogs held off a Cougar (20-10, 9-6) rally at the end of the game to win 70-65.
