PROVO, Utah – Two former BYU football players have accepted a plea deal after a restaurant fight last Halloween.
The brawl, which was caught on tape, started in the dining area of the Rancherito’s restaurant Provo and spilled over in front of the counter.
Joe Sampson and Zachary Stout were each charged with two counts of assault.
They agreed to pleas in abeyance and the second charges were dropped. They have to pay $400 each in court fees and complete an anger management course.
