MILLARD COUNTY, Utah – Millard County officers say a man has taken into custody after he was reported driving a vehicle stolen out of California.
Residents first spotted the man Monday night around 9:20 p.m. in the northeast part of the town of Meadow. Officers arrived at the scene and found the stolen vehicle, an abandoned gray passenger car.
Witnesses described the man as a skinny white male with a small build. He was described as having large eyes with bushy eyebrows and a scruffy beard. He was described as wearing a gray hoodie and dirty blue jeans.
Members of the Millard County Sheriffs Office, the Utah Highway Patrol, Utah Department of Fish and Wildlife and East Millard Sheriffs Posse searched for the suspect. He was located Tuesday morning and taken into custody without incident.
