PROVO, Utah – A plane made a rough landing near the Provo airport on Wednesday afternoon.
Provo City Fire Chief Gary Jolley says a student pilot was attempting a landing at the Provo Municipal Airport just before 3 p.m.
During the landing, there was some sort of mishap and the single-engine plane ran off the end of the runway and suffered minor damage.
The student pilot and his instructor were uninjured. One runway at the airport was closed for investigation of the rough landing.
