SANDY, Utah – Police in Sandy arrested a man they say ducked into a movie theater after robbing a Wells Fargo Bank.
Police say 36-year-old Benjamin Michael Peterson robbed the branch at 9491 South and 700 East. During the robbery, Peterson was reportedly wearing a disguise, including a big straw hat, a fake beard and a track suit.
Police say they got a tip saying someone saw Peterson ditch is disguise and walk into a movie theater down the street.
