Bingham HS basketball coach resigns

Posted

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – Bingham High School’s basketball coach has resigned after 22 years on the job.

A complaint was filed in February, revealing possible financial discrepancies in the basketball program at Bingham High School. After coach March Dubach was approached about the complaints, he resigned his coaching and teaching positions at the school.

Jordan School District says they must be informed about all money that goes through their  athletic programs.

“There cannot be separate accounts that we don’t know about. We have to know about all these accounts and we keep a very close eye on the money that’s coming in our athletic programs,” said district spokeswoman Sandy Riesgraf.

There were also complaints about verbal abuse against the students, but Jordan School District had no comment.
