(CNN) American Airlines’ computer systems are back online, but the carrier expects more flight delays and cancellations for the rest of Tuesday, American Airlines said in a written statement.
American Airlines announced delays for all departing domestic flights Tuesday afternoon after its reservations system failed.
“We’re working to resolve as quickly as we can,” the Fort Worth, Texas-based airline said on its verified Twitter account. “We apologize for any inconvenience.”
The company announced the system had been restored shortly before 3 p.m.
