UINTAH COUNTY — A car that belonged to a Uintah County man who was found murdered Sunday has been recovered.
The body of 22-year-old Elvis Zachary Olsen was found in the Ft. Duchesne area and was reported to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Department at 4:15 p.m. that day.
Investigators said Olsen had been shot and the Office of the Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide on Monday.
On Monday, the Uintah County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s help in locating Olsen’s car, a black 2011 Mazda 3S.
The Mazda was recovered late Monday evening.
“There was a person operating the vehicle and Uintah County Sheriff Jeff Merrell and Detective Isaacson are en-route to the location of the vehicle to interview that person,” the UCSD said in a statement released to the media Tuesday.
