SALT LAKE CITY – A memorial for fallen law enforcement officers took place at the Utah State Capitol on Thursday.
Family and friends of fallen officers, including Juli Beesley, whose husband Utah Highway Patrol officer Aaron Beesley died last June after falling from a cliff while assisting in a search and rescue operation.
“For me it shows appreciation for the service Aaron gave and other fallen officers that gave their lives in the service,” Juli Beesley said.
Flags were set up in memory of those fallen officers.
