SALT LAKE CITY – A man accused of human trafficking, prostitution and identity theft has struck a plea deal.
Luis Daniel Arano-Hernandez is accused of coercing a 17-year-old girl and her mother to be prostituted at two massage parlors.
He was arrested last November after an eight-month investigation, and was originally charged with 13 felonies.
In exchange for the remaining 12 counts being dropped, Arano-Hernandez agreed to plead guilty to human trafficking.
He is scheduled for sentencing on June 28.
