SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake City man is in jail after he hit his young child with a baseball bat.
Nathan Jacobson, 44, was arrested Saturday after witnesses said they saw him chasing his 6-year-old son and hitting him on the back with the bat.
Jacobson was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on child abuse charges.
The child was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
