A video of the National Anthem before Saturday’s Memorial Cup hockey game has gone viral online. Canadian singer Alexis Normand successfully sang “O Canada” before attempting the National Anthem of the United States.
She tweeted afterwards, saying “I’m embarrassed and deeply sorry. I wish I’d had more time to learn the American anthem. Thanks so much for the crowd’s help! #memorialcup.” – @Alex6Normand
