UTAH COUNTY, Utah – Members of the Joint Criminal Apprehension Team found and arrested a Utah fugitive hiding in Mexico after a nearly four-year manhunt.

Jesse Amos Bunker was originally arrested in September of 2008 on 14 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor.

Bunker paid his $20,000 bail in March of 2009 and then fled the country. JCAT Supervisor Sgt. Jason Randall, Utah County Sheriff’s Office, said he hopes the arrest helps the alleged victims.

“Now that he’s back, hopefully these victims can get some closure and move on with their lives,” he said.

Bunker was found in Calima, Mexico. He has been booked into the Utah County Jail.
