SALT LAKE CITY -- Real Salt Lake beat Seattle 2-0 in a match up between the two hottest teams in Major League Soccer.
Kyle Beckerman scored a great goal just before halftime. His volley hit the crossbar and went in for a goal to put RSL up 1-0 in the 41st minute.
Robbie Finley scored just 35 seconds into the 2nd half to put RSL up 2-0. That was the final score. RSL wrapped up their 4-game league homestand with three wins and one tie to move on top of the league standings with 30 points.
RSL will host the Carolina Railhawks on Wednesday in the quarterfinal round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
