ALPINE, Utah - Crews contained a brush fire that threatened homes in Alpine on Friday afternoon.
The fire started around 3:00 in the area of Ranch Dr., Long Dr., Canyon Crest and Alpine Highway.
The 5-acre fire threatened several homes but crews were able to contain it within an hour.
Crews will remain in the area for several hours cleaning up.
