SALT LAKE CITY – Natural gas bills for Utahns could increase in the next year.
Questar Gas officials are asking the Utah Public Service Commission for a $19 million rate increase.
If approved, the change would mean the average customer would see an increase of about $1.36 on their bill each month. Questar officials said the rate increase would be used for system maintenance and expansion.
The rate increase would begin March 1, 2014 if approved.
