SALT LAKE CITY — Two men face aggravated assault charges after they allegedly fired shots at each other in a fight at a Salt Lake City nightclub.
Lt. James Tracy, Salt Lake City Police Department, said police were called to Club One, 180 W 400 S, after receiving a report of a man with a gun.
“The story that’s coming out during our investigation is that the two individuals had an altercation inside the club, went outside [and] the altercation started back up,” Tracy said.
One suspect then pulled out a gun and started shooting, Tracy said, and the other suspect allegedly returned fire. Officers believe about 10-14 shots were fired.
Police suspect alcohol may have been a factor in the incident. No injuries or property damage were reported.
