DUCHESNE -- Duchesne and Summit County Search and Rescue crews located four missing hikers, including two Boy Scouts, who were lost in the High Uintas.
Duchesne County Sheriff's Department officials said shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday the two scouts had been found. They did not provide specific information about where the boys were found or what condition they are in.
The scout group had walked in from the Henry's Fork Trail Head to the Kings Peak area. On the hike out on Friday, the two scouts, ages 14 and 15, walked out ahead of the group, according to a press release from Duchesne County Sheriff's Office.
The teens were last seen near a fork in the trail that splits to Henry's Fork and the other leading to Painter Basin. Search efforts focused on both areas and to the east.
Summit County officials located two other hikers Saturday, who also went missing near the Henry's Fork Trail Head. The missing pair was a father and son, and they are now safe.
A helicopter was used in the search.
