SALT LAKE COUNTY -- A motorist was ejected from his vehicle at approximately 4 p.m. while traveling northbound on Interstate 15 near 3300 South, suffering severe head trauma, officials said Monday.
Police alcohol may have been a factor.
The woman was transported to an area hospital.
The 3300 South off ramp is closed due to the accident, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
