A 19-year-old marine becomes an internet sensation after lending a helping hand to a young runner.
A picture of Lance Corporal Myles Kerr and Brandon Fuchs running together in the Jeff Drench Memorial 5k in Charlevoix, Michigan has gone viral online.
Apparently the nine-year-old runner got separated from his fellow runners, and asked Kerr to run alongside him. Kerr agreed and the two crossed the finish line around the 35-minute mark.
A photo of the two was posted on the Seal of Honor Facebook page and it has already collected more than 200,000 “likes.”
Kerr says he appreciates all the nice comments he’s received, but says he was quote “just doing what any man would do.”
