Study: More empathy with dogs than humans

Posted

A new study found people feel more empathy with dogs than with people.

The findings are from the 108th Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association, as reported by the Huffington Post.

The study included 240 men and women who were asked to read a fictional news story about a victim being beaten.

They were then asked to rate how much they cared about either a toddler, a 30-something adult, a puppy or a 6-year-old dog.
