1 in serious condition, 1 in custody after domestic dispute leads to stabbing

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah – A man is in serious condition after his wife allegedly stabbed him during a domestic dispute Sunday.

Police said a woman dropped her husband off at a hospital with a stab wound in his stomach.

Sgt. Mark Askerlund of the Cottonwood Heights Police Department said 53-year-old Darla Fuller is in custody for aggravated assault in connection with the incident.

Police said the husband and wife were fighting and the argument escalated, which is when Darla Fuller allegedly stabbed her husband in the stomach with a knife. She then drove him to a hospital. According to police, the man underwent surgery and is in serious condition.
