UTAH COUNTY, Utah -- There's a family in Utah County that just welcomed its sixth living generation.
That means there's a grandchild that has a grandma; a great grandma; a great, great grandma; and a great, great, great, grandma.
The family now spans in ages from 1 month old to 95 years old.
Great grandmother Jannette Boone said they are excited by the development.
“A lot of people say, ‘I can't believe you have a sixth generation, that's pretty rare,’” She said. “That's pretty exciting for us, because family means everything.”
The world record for the most generations alive in a single family is seven.
