WEST VALLEY CITY — Police are searching for two unidentified suspects after a credit union robbery Tuesday night.

According to police, two armed men went into a Central Credit Union at 4100 South and 4800 West in West Valley City and demanded cash at gunpoint.

Authorities said the suspects fled the scene and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Employees at the credit union were unable to give a description of the suspects’ vehicle, but police are hopeful that video surveillance will give them some answers.

The first suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and medium build.

The second suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches and medium build.

Officers said both men were wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information related to the robbery is asked to contact West Valley City Police at (801) 840-4000.

FOX 13 will update this story with surveillance photos when they are made available.
