WOODS CROSS, Utah — Woods Cross police and officials from the South Davis Metro Fire Agency responded to the scene of a shooting Tuesday afternoon.
It happened shortly before 4 p.m. at 1300 S 1450 West. Police said the victim sustained a shotgun injury to his shoulder.
Witnesses said they saw a 23-year-old man walking down the street injured and asking for help. Police said the man then collapsed on a doorstep. He underwent emergency surgery once at the hospital.
Authorities said the man is not cooperative.
Police served a search warrant on the home where the incident occurred and recovered a weapon. A Woods Cross Police spokesman said they are not actively looking for a suspect at this time.
