PARK CITY, Utah — All power has been restored to residents after a massive power outage in the Park City, Heber City and surrounding areas Tuesday afternoon.
About 36,000 customers in Park City and other communities in Summit and Wasatch Counties were without power during the outage, said Jeff Hymas with Rocky Mountain Power — in Heber City about 10,000 Heber Light & Power customers were without power.
Power was restored around 2 p.m.
Nearly 600 RMP customers in the Brighton, Big Cottonwood and Salt Lake City areas were also affected by outage, but their power has been restored as well.
Since Heber’s power is connected to Rocky Mountain Power, Heber residents were also impacted by the power outage.
Power has been restored to Heber City customers.
