Missing SLC woman returns home

UPDATE: SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City Police announced via Twitter that 55-year-old Le Tuyet returned home on her own Saturday.

They said she is in good condition.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Salt Lake City police are searching for a missing and endangered woman who was last seen Thursday morning.

According to tweets from the Salt Lake City Police Department, Le Tuyet, 55, was last seen Thursday at 9 a.m. near 1300 North Redwood Road.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, tan sweatpants and she was dragging a black rolling suitcase. The woman has a history of mental illness, without medication, according to the tweets.

The woman was heading to a class at the University of Utah, where she is enrolled as a student. Police officials said the woman may appear disoriented or easily distracted.

Anyone who sees Tuyet is asked to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department.
