CLEARFIELD, Utah — Davis County officers are looking for a man who led police on a chase through Clearfield.
Sgt. Susan Poulson from the Davis County Sheriff’s Office said the chase began when a deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop and the suspect refused to pull over.
The chase never reached high speeds, Poulson said, and the suspect stopped the vehicle in the area of Vine St. and Fern St., then fled on foot.
A posting on DCSO’s twitter account showed the suspect’s vehicle, a green SUV, had crashed through a resident’s fence.
Initial attempts to apprehend the suspect were unsuccessful. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, wearing black clothing and a black beanie.
The suspect is not believed to be armed.
