SALT LAKE CITY — Utah quarterback Travis Wilson threw six interceptions against 12th ranked UCLA in the Bruins 34-27 win over the Utes on Thursday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Wilson threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter: a 54-yard pass to Dres Anderson that tied the score 7-7, then a 6-yard touchdown pass to Sean Fitzgerald to put the Utes up 14-7. But the offense did not score another touchdown the rest of the way, as Utah falls to 3-2 and 0-2 in Pac-12 play.

The Utes cut the lead to seven after a field goal from Andy Phillips with 2:04 to play. The Utes recovered the onside kick, but Wilson’s sixth interception sealed the win for UCLA.

The Utah defense did a good job of containing UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley, but his 36 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was the difference.
